The List, as it exists in its present state

OK so I can't say I spent a great deal of time on this. Mostly I just...kind of...thought of things to do. So I might add to it if I think of other things, or whatever. Read onnnn!

1) Buy a hula-hoop and use it! They cost like, a dollar right? I just always for get I have them, maybe I'll just carry it around in my car for a few weeks or months or forever...
2) Make a summer scrapbook. In theory scrapbooking is kinda really cool, but it also takes about a thousand hours per photo, so we'll keep it short.
3) Hit the kiddie section of the dollar store, and buy a few bottles of soapy bubbles. I'll stick the bubbles in the Crown Victoria, too. No, I'm not striving for the childhood I never had. I just like spherical soap.
4) Fly a kite on a windy day. So I used to go to Jersey every summer with my dad's family until my grandma died. we would always fly kits and it's tacky but in a really wonderful Mary Poppins sort of way.
5) Catch fireflies in a jar. I just like to watch them fly around.
6) Play tag in the rain. In a street. Streets tag yeah man.
7) Have a picnic. You probably think I'm a really boring person. Maybe I shouldn't be so self-conscious.
9) Go crazy with the temporary tattoos. Whatever happened to those anyways?
10)Wash our hair dye. Just for kicks :)
11) Watch 5 movies in a row. I just have way too much free time.
12) Pull an all-nighter. Never done it, actually, but everyone I know pretty much has. Can't wait to screw with my sleep schedule!
13) Make a crepe. Because they're delicious.
14) Fold 25 paper cranes. Uhh. I might get rid of this one,
15) Carve your name into a tree. Initials. Shapes. Any tree carving.
16) Lay out on the beach for a whole day. Well, so, like, here in MO, surprisingly enough, we don't have many beaches. but I do know a few lakes with docks and sand we could chill at.
17) Go stargazing a 2 in the morning. I like night time.
18) Make a home movie. Probably a mockumentary, but you never know.
19) Sleep till 1 pm. Ha. that's not hard.
20) Make soda popsicles. (It says I misspelled "popsicles". Wrong-o.)
21) Have a massive dog walk with friends on the MKT. And their dogs, I guess.
22) Wake up at 4 am to play tennis as the sun rises. Tennis is infinitely better at night, try it fools.
23) Start using a handshake with my friends. This probably won't stick. but for a week or so?
24) Spray paint a t-shirt. Machine wash cold?
25) Make a Rube Goldberg machine. Kind of excited for this one,
26) Take up fishing (or fly fishing).
27) Learn to play tennis. Well, that is.
28) Compose a song. And I'll sing it to you for free :)
29) Sing Karaoke. I need me one of these magical machines.
30) Become an early riser. Jaysus, I hate waking up.
31) Take up yoga. Like in a normal way, you know?
32) Spend a night sleeping on the roof with flashlights, books and pillows. My roof isn't very steep. Roof camping?
33) Re-dress a store mannequin. To be fair, I do this frequently. But we can make it like an official thing on the list or whatever.
34) Take photos of everything. I'm 16, not super old or anything. But I still find the nostalgia in me wishing for more photos of my past self from either living in Ohio or in MO or just with family. I know, it's pretty fricking cheesy, but someday I'm going to wish I could remember just exactly what someone's face looked like and I won't be able too.

Sooo. 34. Yeah, it's a pretty serious milestone. No, but seriously, after each post, I'll lend a section at the bottom for me to post any new additions to the list. Ever expanding, like the Android market. Ha. Ha. Sorry for the lame joke and pleeeaaase wish me luck on my AP Calculus BC test on Wednesday, May 4th! Should be great?

Columbia Sucks

So today I was sitting at home and I was contemplating what to do. I live in Columbia, Missouri, a town with 100k people situated two hours away from both Kansas City and St. Louis. Perhaps the most boring place in the world. Probably not, actually, if you're middle-aged and liberal and waited to have kids until you were 45. Or maybe if you go to the University of Missouri, just maybe. But I'm neither, go figure. So I go to Rock Bridge High School, class of 2012, which isn't important unless you're a particularly creepy person. I have a brother who graduates in about a month, and a sixth grade sister. More creepy information. Anyways, usually, I hang out with my friends on the weekends. Normal, right? But today I had nothing, absolutely nothing to do. Except catch up on Hulu episodes, which I still have yet to do. Normally I would be particularly hesitant to admit that somewhere public, like facebook where I would wonder what all my friends are thinking and whether or not they judged me or something. But really, you're just reading the words I feed to you, so what the hell do you care? So I guess the point is, I decided to make a list of things to do. Anything. Like, mostly hobbies and things to try. Mainly things I could complete in an afternoon or evening or otherwise. I want to be working towards something, and I want to be able to post about them. I'll probably recruit friends, and take photos, and describe it. But I'll also use this to post about other things, like music I'm into, recent events I've attended, and whatnot. Look for  list on the next post, but I'll add to it whenever, so if you have a cool idea, let me know :)

I guess that assumes that people are actually reading this.
